Little Baby Sweety: Rice and Apple Teething Rusks

Regardless of the characteristics of consumer, who is sometimes loud, thankless, needy and forceful, a good ‘Chef de patisserie’ will bake their heart into every slice and each crumble…

Ingredients
160 g Rice Flour
Approximately 250 ml of pureed cooked apple
Enough orange juice to make a stiff dough
1-2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Zest of 1 orange

  

Method
Steam it until it’s tender, then mash finely. Combine the flour with sugar, cinnamon, zest, pureed apple and add enough juice to mix up a stiff dough. Pat it out on a floured board into a thin disc. Slice or cut into desired shaped rusks and line on a floured tray. Bake in a 150 degrees C oven until they are hard (for a shorter baking time, turn them after about 30 minutes). Offer with fresh juice or soft fruit. Store in an airtight container.
