Unarguably, the best thing one can use a cookie for is: DUNKING! Experts are convinced, it is not just any old movement forcing a treat into a glass of sweet drink…no – no – no… There is a proven method to dunking, giving a priceless pleasure in return of sacrificing one’s table manners…
SO, HOW DOES ONE DUNK A COOKIE PROPERLY?
Lower the cookie gently into the milk until about half the cookie is submerged. If you submerge the whole cookie at once, air will become trapped inside the cookie and will not allow the milk to soak in. Keep the treat straight and firm, do not swirl it around or move it up and down in the milk as it would risk breaking the cookie and losing it forever in the depths tepid drink. After six seconds, slowly move the cookie out the milk and gently raise the cookie to the mouth, careful not to break the pleasantly soggy cookie in half. More experience dunkers can be very daring and gently hold the cookie between the thumb and index-finger and dunk the whole inside the milk. Small bubbles will then rise to the surface. When it stops bubbling quickly take the cookie out of the milk and place it in mouth. Wipe the excess milk off fingers and repeat the action to creates optimum milk cookie ratio to result in a satisfied appetite.
